Some facts about Typing Class:
- Typing class will be held every day, 8th period, in the computer lab - for the 7th graders
- Typing class will last only FOR THE FIRST 2 QUARTERS OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
- The 3rd & 4th quarters the 7th grade will have Mrs. Terwilliger & me for Music, as we prepare for the Spring Concert
- There is no homework for typing class
- I will give out study guides for quizzes and tests, which the student is to keep in thier folder
- I will post on this page the dates for quizzes and tests- dates subject to change due to illness, snow days, etc.
- If the student reads over the study guide, once or twice, with honest effort, he/she should get a great grade!
- Quizzes are written -example: true/false - fill in blank - multiple choice - NO KEYBOARDING will be done on quizzes
- Tests will include the same as quizzes - written work - as well as a keyboarding exercise.
- Black outs will be used on the keyboards from September 22nd on. Blackouts are laytex covers for the keyboards, so that the student can not see the keyboard while typing. It's a great typing tool
