March 15-18, 2010 No School on Friday and March 22-26th
Math: I have told the children they may practice using a calculator on extra credit math. Sometimes I assign the green letters for extra credit. These are the only problems they may do on a calculator. They may bring a calculator for the Stanford Achievement Tests. There is one section where use is allowed.
Stanford Achievement Tests are next week. The students need to have #2 pencils and an eraser. Please check with your child about this. Get plenty of sleep and bring a snack.
History Project: A project has been assigned that is worth two test grades. The deadlines are posted on this page. Directions have been sent home. Have fun with the project!!! There will be worksheets and quizzes given for the rest of the year, but I will not be giving any other major tests in History due to the nature of the material we are reading. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact me. Due dates: title page-Monday, March 22; people section-Monday, March 29; religion section-Friday, April 16th; food and culture section-Monday, April 26th; government section-Tuesday, May 4th; Extras-Friday, May 14th
