Wow! Have I been off line for a lonnnnnngggggg time! Let's update as quickly as possible.
Seniors have been back from Argentina for almost three weeks. We had a wonderful time of ministry while we were in Buenos Aires. I think the hardest thing for all of us to do was leave the orphanage without taking any of the boys and girls with us. One thing I came away with is the joy the people of Argentina have for life. It was very evident in the churches we ministered in. We were truly blessed by all while we were there.
Finals are over. Tomorrow is Picnic Day. Friday is Awards Day. Saturday is when the senior class graduates. Pray for them as the Lord speaks to them as to what His will is for them as they begin their new chapter in their life. It has been quite a journey for them these past few years. I will continue to pray for them in the months to come.
I hope you all have a great summer. I plan to spend some time updating my notes for next year's classes. I do that every summer. I get things back in the proper folders, find new "stuff" to put in bigger binders, and continue to search for other worthwhile books to teach. :-)
I have learned this year I can't do anything but trust the Lord. It was exciting to see just how the Lord worked everything out for the Class of 2008 to go on their trip. To borrow a phrase from one of their ministry songs "It's all about you ,Jesus" We can all be proud of how and what the senior class did on their trip while in Argentina.
My biggest desire is for the class to realize that when something seem soooooooooo impossible, it would take a miracle to work out, they would think back and remember what the Lord has done in their senior year for them and through them.
I am looking forward to my summer. I hope you are too.
